About the Job
The ICS Cybersecurity Analyst is an individual contributor responsible for executing and supporting cybersecurity functions across network, email, endpoint, cloud, and advanced persistent threat areas. This role requires applying IT security knowledge and experience to projects involving new security applications, implementation and support of security tools, and security investigations. The analyst will develop higher-level expertise while working with moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply cybersecurity knowledge across Eastman's environment, including understanding security trends, threats, insider risks, and defenses.
- Monitor security logs and triage alerts to identify cyber threats.
- Innovate by combining security data sources to create new detections and alerts.
- Conduct system and network incident response, containment, and recovery activities.
- Participate in investigations and document findings.
- Deploy and configure new security tools within Eastman's environment.
- Use development skills to automate security processes when appropriate.
- Assess application security and define security requirements and options.
- Provide cybersecurity consulting for projects and teams.
- Collaborate on product evaluations and recommend security solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to upper management.
- Research industry security trends and propose strategic responses.
- Respond to cyber threat activities, including on-call duties.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of development and programming concepts.
- Experience with log aggregation tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, or Microsoft M365 Security Suite.
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or ICS infrastructure roles.
