Description

SAIC is looking for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) that will be responsible for supporting the implementation of information systems security tasks, as required for the safeguarding, handling, and controlling of classified information. This role requires the applicant to be a self-starter, and the willingness to initiate communication with various personnel for support and/or compliance requirements. This position will be located at CIWT Corry Station in Pensacola, FL .

The ISSO will be expected to:

  • Manage RMF accreditation packages

  • Update security controls, ATO artifacts, and POA&M items in eMASS

  • Utilize automated tools such as eMASSter to validate ATO artifacts such as STIG checklists and Nessus vulnerability scans

  • Track and manage compliance for DoD and Navy security task orders and IAVMs

  • Assist ISSMs with spillages and information security incidents

  • Conduct annual security reviews

  • Review and update information assurance policies, documents, and SOPs

  • Consult with and brief management and ISSMs on information assurance compliance

  • Prepare and finalize notes for inspection findings and body of evidence submissions

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 2 years of cybersecurity experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Hands on experience managing RMF system accreditations with eMASS

  • Experience managing vulnerability compliance with Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM)

  • Experience with enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), eMASSter, and/or EVAL-STIG

  • Solid understanding of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklist requirements

  • Incident reporting and monitoring

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

  • Must have an active CompTIA Security+ certification

Required clearance:

Must have an active Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Poly
