Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information and Digital Office is seeking well-qualified Cybersecurity Analysts to join its dynamic team of technical professionals across the United States. Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity Analyst: Early-in-career Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) support classified information assurance lifecycle activities and perform assessments of systems within the networking environment, identifying systems and networks deviating from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
- Principal Cybersecurity Analyst: Lead projects involving the certification and accreditation of classified systems; develop and implement the Risk Management Framework package; mentor Junior Cybersecurity Analysts on full life cycle activities including assessments, monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and RMF.
- Sr. Principal Cybersecurity Analyst: Senior Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) leads teams performing full life cycle information assurance activities; lead teams through RMF packaging, vulnerability analysis, Security Test and Evaluation (STE) procedures for accreditation, and development of Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Qualifications
- Background and experience needed for all position levels:
- Minimum of DoD Secret level security clearance as a condition of employment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company
- Experience with NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Cybersecurity Analyst – Basic Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years of experience; 6 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree
- Current DoD 8570 IAM level I security certification (Security+), or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date
- Principal Cybersecurity Analyst – Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree and 7 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of experience; 9 years may be considered in lieu of degree
- Current DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification (e.g., CAP, CISSP) on first day of employment
- Sr. Principal Cybersecurity Analyst – Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree and 11 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years of experience; 13 years may be considered in lieu of degree
- Current DoD 8570 IAM Level III security certification (e.g., CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CISSP) on first day of employment
Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $165,500.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00
The above salary range is a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Benefits include health and life insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and PTO. Overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long-term incentives may apply depending on the position.
