ENSCO, Inc. is seeking an INFOSEC/Cybersecurity Specialist (Level 3) to provide mid-level security engineering support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) NAS Enterprise Services Group (AJW-17). This position will contribute to the security, compliance, and operational readiness of systems supporting the National Airspace System (NAS). The selected candidate will assist with the review and analysis of system security requirements, help develop risk mitigation strategies, and support the integration of security controls into system architectures.

Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments and assist in the management of remediation activities.
- Support compliance reviews and contribute to configuration management processes.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, participate in technical interchange meetings, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure system changes meet FAA cybersecurity standards.
- Assist more senior cybersecurity staff, provide input on security best practices, and contribute to audit and assessment activities.
- Support reviews of system security requirements and help integrate security controls into system architectures.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related information technology field (may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience)
- 10–15 years of experience (Master’s degree may substitute for 3 years; PhD may substitute for 7 years)
- Industry-recognized certification relevant to the work (Security+, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST SP 800-series, FIPS, FAA security standards)
- Experience supporting system authorization, continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and remediation tracking
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining system security documentation (security plans, risk assessments, test documentation)
- Experience with configuration management processes, including tracking baselines and maintaining records
- Ability to conduct compliance reviews and risk analyses, and provide remediation input
- Ability to support secure system integration and lifecycle activities
- Strong collaboration skills and experience supporting multidisciplinary technical and program teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, Jira/Confluence)
- Strong communication skills for reports, presentations, and briefings
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the FAA ATO
- Exposure to audit support and remediation (GAO, OIG, DHS, or internal FAA security reviews)
- Hands-on experience with enterprise cybersecurity tools (vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, asset management platforms)
- Strong technical writing skills for risk assessments, security documentation, and executive briefings
- Familiarity with Zero Trust, supply chain risk management, and cloud security integration
- Active SECRET security clearance

Salary Range: $90,001.60 - $161,761.05 USD
