Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Product Owner to lead greenfield development and delivery of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, technical systems, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development plans. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to drive product success in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner for cybersecurity-focused software products, including SIEM platforms and detection technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system architecture and translate technical concepts into clear backlog items.
• Lead and participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions.
• Champion Agile practices, particularly Scrum, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value and user needs.
• Utilize tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage product backlogs and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with SIEM platforms and/or cybersecurity detection technologies.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Demonstrated success as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality software and user experiences.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the cybersecurity domain.
• Familiarity with AI technologies to enhance product capabilities.
• Experience working in cloud environments.
• Ability to serve in a dual role as Product Owner and Scrum Master.
• SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) with practical experience.
• Additional certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
