Overview

A growing real estate investment firm headquartered in Atlanta specializing in retail and industrial developments is seeking a Controller to join their leadership team. The ideal candidate will oversee current financial operations and build a robust accounting organization to support the firm\u2019s ambitious growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Single-tenant net lease retail assets and value-add acquisitions


• Speculative and build-to-suit industrial facilities


• Capital placement and investment opportunities


• Overseeing tenant collections, reporting, and asset administration

This role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing complex financial operations, forecasting, and reporting while supporting a growing organization poised for significant expansion over the next 3-5 years.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a financial leader in real estate development and investment


• Expertise in managing complex financial operations, including forecasting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and project accounting


• Ability to oversee multiple business units with diverse financial needs (development, logistics, structured finance, property management)


• Experience scaling financial organizations and implementing reporting and compliance processes


• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and investors


• CPA or equivalent certification preferred

Base pay range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
