Responsibilities:

• Explain exams to patients and families to ensure cooperation.
• Acquire anatomical, pathological, and physiological data.
• Record and process sonographic data, prepare preliminary reports.
• Assist physicians with procedures like amniocentesis.
• Recognize equipment malfunctions and maintain supplies.
• Follow protocols for imaging modalities.
• Rotate coverage as needed and perform additional duties.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited sonography program or equivalent.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification in OB/GYN.
• Provide evidence of continuing education credits.
• CPR certification required.

Experience:

• Minimum six months in OB/GYN or MFM ultrasound preferred.
• Skilled in ultrasound equipment operation.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
