Compensation

The Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) Clinician works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families served. This position collaborates with youth, families, foster parents, and community partners, providing counseling, advocacy, and support to help them live safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities
The IHBT Therapist will:
- Perform all work in line with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.
- Support, represent, and extend the organization’s mission and values.
- Provide individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services, meeting or exceeding outcome thresholds.
- Travel daily to deliver community-based services to youth and families, complying with organizational, contractual, and regulatory standards.
- Complete all required documentation and training promptly.
- Achieve established productivity thresholds consistently.
- Coordinate and monitor services across mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social domains.
- Review and modify youth plans regularly to ensure progress.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with foster families and families of origin.
- Assist in family reunification or stabilization efforts per the youth’s case plan.
- Provide safety assessments, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as needed.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities monthly or quarterly.
- Engage actively in weekly supervision sessions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Human Services from an accredited institution.
- Valid LSW or LPC required; BSW with experience may be considered.
- Two years of direct service experience with youth and families preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours.
- Ability to be flexible and responsive to youth, families, system partners, and colleagues.
- Maintain objectivity and professionalism.
- Respect for diverse cultural, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
- Proficiency with computers, smartphones, tablets, and related software.
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Good driving record
- Minimum automobile insurance of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
