Indiana University Health Physicians and Indiana University School of Medicine Division of Endocrinology are seeking patient-focused Academic Endocrinologists to collaborate with our highly skilled teams. This academic opportunity offers a balanced clinical and academic role within a well-established group of board-certified Endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, and certified diabetes educators.Indiana University School of Medicine houses the Diabetes Translational Research Center, providing access to the latest research breakthroughs, scientific developments, and clinical trials. Our faculty research interests include alcoholism, hypertension, metabolic bone disease, obesity, lipid disorders, and diabetes. The Division of Endocrinology is also recruiting Physician Scientists interested in pituitary or thyroid diseases. The pituitary specialist will work with dedicated high-volume pituitary surgeons as the Co-Medical Director of the Pituitary Disorders Program within the IU Neuroscience Institute Skull Base Surgery Program.

  • Full-time Endocrinology position with research expectations
  • Assistant/Associate Professor faculty title
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, plus 4-6 weeks per year of inpatient service with Fellows and Residents
  • Split call schedule among a large group of Endocrinologists
  • Referrals from Indiana's largest primary and specialty care practices
  • Practice located in downtown Indianapolis

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
  • Open to current Fellows and practicing physicians
