TekCom Resources is seeking an OSP Coax Splicer in the Indianapolis, IN area for a full-time, direct hire role with a fast-growing fiber construction firm.

In this role, you will splice coaxial cables in the air, underground, and indoors on occasion. The position involves working at sites in and around Indianapolis, with some sites up to two hours away. Overnight travel is infrequent and only during night work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and place coaxial cable.
• Install vaults, pedestals, active or passive devices like CATV equipment, and coax splice cases.
• Troubleshoot and perform "rough balance" on coaxial cable plant.
• Read designs and design maps for CATV equipment and other installations.
• Perform civil construction work such as pulling ropes/cables, using tools, and digging when required.
• Complete documentation for projects, expenses, etc.
• Care for assigned equipment, materials, and company vehicle responsibly.
