IU Health is seeking a General Oncologist to join our practice in the Indianapolis area. Locations will include our CICC Methodist, CICC Fishers, the IU Health Joe & Shelly Schwarz Cancer Center, and CICC East.
- Part-time employment opportunity for general adult oncology patients
- 30 hours per week
- Includes full benefits
- 100% clinical
- 75% outpatient, 15% inpatient
- At least 8 weekends of call annually (inpatient)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent judgment in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulate treatment plans, and lead the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient care goals
- Oversee the team, residents, and medical students in their assigned duties
- Provide medical education and coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts
- Participate in clinical research projects in collaboration with the medical research department
Minimum job requirements
- Must be BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
