Position Summary

Responsible for assisting the Management and Chef teams in various projects including data entry, filing, reservations, menu creation, basic cleaning, and front door hosting. Collaborate with front and back of house staff to ensure a great dining experience while maintaining professionalism and a positive work environment.

  1. Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude, proactively assisting the Management team.
  2. Onboard new hires accurately in Company systems.
  3. Complete HR-related paperwork for non-management employees and submit documentation to corporate.
  4. Create private dining menus based on notes from the Sales Manager and deliver to the private room.
  5. Print BEOs for Chefs and Managers.
  6. Enter invoices and inventory into the accounting system, following management guidance; handle vendor issue forms and follow up on credit memos.
  7. Scan, copy, and file invoices as directed.
  8. Handle daily paperwork such as sales, labor reports, variance reports, new hire paperwork, and training assessments.
  9. Manage inventory and print training materials weekly from SharePoint.
  10. Order and maintain office supplies, bank deposit bags, and deposit slips.
  11. Assist with answering phones, reservations, and call routing.
  12. Complete opening, running, and closing side work duties.
  13. Support host duties, especially during busy periods.
  14. Perform administrative tasks to support successful shifts.
  15. Respond to positive reviews on OT, TripAdvisor, Yelp, etc.
  16. Assist with delivery order setups from LBW deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Experience at Perry’s Restaurant or in fine dining preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; HRIS and onboarding experience a plus.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Detail-oriented and attentive.
  • Servsafe or similar Food Handler’s Certificate may be required based on location.
  • TABC or similar certification.
  • Experience with Open Table reservation system and data entry preferred.
  • Previous office experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in person and via phone.
  • Professionalism, maturity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to multitask and execute projects efficiently.

Physical Requirements

  • Repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Lift, carry, or move objects up to 10 pounds.
  • Ascend/descend stairs and ramps while balancing trays.
  • Maintain body balance on narrow or slippery surfaces.
  • Move objects horizontally and vertically.
  • Good visual and auditory awareness for reading seating charts and communicating with guests.
  • This is a part-time role with varying hours, including weekends and holidays, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Sustained use of a computer is required.
