Overview

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role works with leaders to set goals and build plans to achieve them.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Department Managers with specific responsibilities in the restaurant.
• Help the Department Managers set goals, follow up on progress, and provide mentoring and direction to improve their Departments and the restaurant overall.
• Hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.
• Maintain full scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the restaurants.
• Open, operate, and close shifts as needed to support guest service and restaurant operations.

Requirements

• Experience leading a restaurant team and managing operations (Mid-Senior level).
• Ability to hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers and to set goals with follow-up and mentoring.
• Strong scheduling flexibility to meet restaurant needs and a customer-focused mindset.
