Restaurant Manager Job at Carlisle Corporation in Vicksburg

Statement of Purpose:

In this role, the Restaurant Manager will support the General Manager by providing coaching to the team and creating a fun, inviting work environment where the team feels respected and valued. The Restaurant Manager will identify 5-Star talent and ensure effective scheduling. With support from a General Manager (GM) or District Manager (DM), the Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations and staff, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, laws, and ethical standards. The role includes hiring, training, developing staff, and maximizing restaurant profitability and customer satisfaction.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Sales and Profits

• Manage labor costs and evaluate needs against sales.
• Review budgets and P&L monthly.
• Promote customer satisfaction to increase sales.
• Monitor costs, waste, and theft.
• Report sales and profit issues to GM or DM.
• Assist in executing sales and profit plans.

Staffing & Hiring

• Process applications, conduct interviews, check references.
• Hire crew and monitor turnover.

Quality

• Monitor product quality, service times, and customer feedback.
• Train crew in quality standards and customer service.

Cleanliness

• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and correct deficiencies.

Training

• Train crew on products and procedures.
• Assist in training new managers.

Controls

• Ensure adherence to standards, monitor inventory, and manage security.

Policies and Procedures

• Follow operational manuals and safety policies.

Administration

• Perform administrative duties and schedule staff.

Maintenance

• Follow maintenance programs and report issues.

Employee Relations

• Manage performance and retention strategies.

Performance Management

• Conduct performance reviews and corrective actions.

Employment Standards:

• Knowledge of Wendy's systems, policies, and supervisory practices.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year restaurant operations experience.
• Legal and physical requirements, including ServSafe certification and ability to lift weights.
