Overview

Temporary Restaurant Supervisor. Northwood Hospitality LLC d/b/a Cheeca Lodge & Spa (Islamorada, FL). 2 openings. Temporary, F/T job from 11/13/2025 – 09/09/2026. Work to be performed at multiple properties in Monroe County, FL. Min. 35 hrs/week. Shifts: Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 8:00am to 4:00pm, 11:00am to 7:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Responsibilities

• The Restaurant Supervisor is a leadership position responsible for supervising resort restaurants.
• The Restaurant Supervisor enforces compliance with state and resort standards at the direction of the Director of F&B, while motivating employees to deliver exceptional guest service.
• The position will monitor daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.
• Coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house during service.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
• Supervise and support restaurant team during service.
• Assist with O.T.J. training and scheduling of team members.
• Resolve team conflicts and maintain team morale.
• Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of product.
• Minimize waste and assist with controls of cost of goods.
• Handle guests’ complaints and ensure guests satisfaction.
• Monitor steps of service quality during service.
• Support team during busy hours to maintain service standards.
• Help maintain team attendance records, sales, and inventories.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports, check lists, and assignments for daily business.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years in food and beverage supervisory position with at least one year in luxury resort setting.
• International experience preferred.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Applicant must provide Pre-employment Criminal Background Check and Pre-employment Drug Test is required.
