Responsibilities

• As a Restaurant Server, you will serve meals to patrons in the dining establishment while providing exceptional guest service.
• Perform opening and closing sidework per checklists.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and drinks.
• Write or memorize orders, relay orders to the kitchen, and serve courses from kitchen and service bars to guests.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and determine when a meal has been completed.
• Record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
• Familiarize yourself with current food and beverage offerings.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Restaurant and surrounding areas.
• Check fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, etc.) for proper operation; report deficiencies.
• Provide information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel to guests.
• Clear, clean and reset tables for dining as needed.
• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus as needed.
• Schedule dining reservations and handle special guest requests as needed.
• Answer phones in accordance with proper telephone standards as needed.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a self-motivated Restaurant Server with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.
• 3 to 6 months related experience; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
