*Job Summary*We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of food service management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.*Responsibilities** Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant?s profits* Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies* Evaluate daily operations* Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget* Monitor revenues to determine labour cost* Monitor staff performance* Plan and organize daily operations* Recruit staff* Set staff work schedules* Supervise staff* Train staff* Conduct performance reviews* Cost products and services* Organize and maintain inventory* Ensure health and safety regulations are followed* Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies* Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities* Participate in marketing plans and implementation* Address customers' complaints or concerns* Provide customer service* Manage events*Experience** Smart Serve* Safe Food Handling certificate* Food Safety Certificate* 3 years to 5 years experience* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience* MS Access* MS Excel* MS Office* MS Outlook* MS PowerPoint* MS Windows* MS Word* Point of sale system* Spreadsheet* Basic security clearance*Must have** Valid driver's licence* Own vehicle*Work conditions and physical capabilities** Fast-paced environment* Work under pressure* Tight deadlines* Repetitive tasks* Handling heavy loads* Physically demanding* Attention to detail* Combination of sitting, standing, walking* Standing for extended periods* Large workload*Personal suitability** Accurate* Client focus* Dependability* Efficient interpersonal skills* Excellent oral communication* Excellent written communication* Flexibility* Organized* Reliability* Team player* Ability to multitaskJob Type: Full-timePay: $29.50 per hourExpected hours: 40 ? 50 per weekLanguage:* English (required)Work Location: In personExpected start date: 2025-08-28
