FT, PT and PRN positions available with multiple shift options.

Available Positions:

• Food Service Associate (FSA) - $13.50/hour+
• Host/Hostess - $13.50/hour+
• Dishwasher - $15.50/hour+
• Cook - $15.50/hour+

John Knox Village features 7 dining outlets over 400 acres, each with unique menus and service styles, including cafeterias, quick service, and full-service restaurants. Kitchens range from mostly batch cooking to predominantly scratch-made dishes, all led by chefs. Wages vary by outlet, with full-time positions benefiting from up to 5 weeks of PTO. Operational hours start as early as 7 am and close by 8 pm, offering a better work-life balance compared to typical restaurants. Full-service servers earn higher wages plus gratuities.

Requirements

Candidate must be at least 16 years old.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Licenses/Certifications: Must obtain a Food Handler Permit within 15 days; ServSafe certification accepted.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work with residents/customers.
• Basic cash handling skills.
• Understanding of cost control.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to read instructions and perform simple math.
• Ability to perform tasting and smelling.
