Job Summary

The Restaurant Supervisor oversees, controls, and administers all Food & Beverage outlets, maintaining and exceeding property Brand Standards and service levels in each outlet.

  1. Ensure outstanding Guest Service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging guests, maintaining high standards, and demonstrating solid product knowledge.
  2. Meet or exceed guest satisfaction scores.
  3. Foster positive working relationships with all staff.
  4. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer service environment, meeting deadlines under pressure.
  5. Attend BEO, staff, and Food & Beverage meetings.
  6. Analyze daily operation reports, financial statements, and labor costs.
  7. Perform special projects as assigned by the General Manager or Food & Beverage Director.
  8. Plan and execute hotel-sponsored events.
  9. Sample food and beverage products to ensure quality and consistency.
  10. Implement marketing ideas and promotions for the F&B department.
  11. Monitor POS systems and cashier procedures.
  12. Perform duties of team members as needed.
  13. Handle Manager on Duty responsibilities.
  14. Manage customer flow and front/back-of-house interactions during service.
  15. Ensure team members uphold brand standards and customer service quality.
  16. Address customer inquiries professionally.
  17. Maintain outlet scheduling and payroll.
  18. Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate relevant information.
  19. Coordinate with other departments, participate in marketing, menu creation, and food trend analysis.
  20. Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring food is appealing and prepared to specifications.
  21. Maintain outlet profitability, control payroll and equipment costs, manage inventory, and oversee maintenance.
  22. Support F&B operations, supervise other areas, and handle promotions and public relations.
  23. Ensure a clean and safe environment, adhering to safety policies and emergency procedures.
  24. Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per standards.
  25. Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of food outlet operations, service techniques, and guest interaction.
  • Knowledge of liquor regulations and responsible serving policies.
  • Current Food Handler Card or certification in progress.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and apply product labeling instructions.
  • Ability to remember and promote menu items.
  • Proficiency with beverage equipment.
  • Minimum 2-3 years as a Food & Beverage Supervisor with hotel experience of similar size.

Physical Demands

  • Transport up to 30 lbs. frequently.
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, and other physical activities.
