Bavarian Inn Restaurant is hiring a Maintenance Technician to handleday-to-day repairs and preventive maintenance across our busy 90,000 squarefoot property — including 3 commercial kitchens, 12 dining rooms, full-scaleproduction bakery, and vast retail areas.

This role is ideal for someone who’s mechanically inclined,self-motivated, and confident working with a variety of systems likeelectrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment. Ourmaintenance team takes pride in doing the job right – with quality craftsmanship,consistency, and a little good humor along the way.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position involves hands-on work across multiple systemsand departments, often in time-sensitive or high-pressure situations. You’ll beresponsible for identifying issues quickly, executing effective repairs, andmaintaining a calm, solution-focused approach while doing it.

Tasks include routinemaintenance, emergency repairs, and proactive troubleshooting of:

• Commercial Kitchen Equipment (fryers, ovens,dishwashers, mixers)
• Plumbing (grease traps, dish lines, waterlines, valves, drains)
• Electrical (lighting, outlets, panels,motors)
• Refrigeration (walk-in freezers& coolers, boilers)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+years of relevant maintenance experience
• Proficiencyin commercial kitchen equipment repairs preferred
• Solidworking knowledge of electrical and plumbing
• Strongdiagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Friendlyand optimistic demeanor with the ability to maintain composure underpressure
• Mustbe available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires regular physical activity in afast-paced, hands-on environment. Team members in this role must be able to:

• Standand walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
• Climbstairs and ladders, including accessing rooftops, attics, or equipmentplatforms
• Lift,push, or pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds
• Workin a variety of conditions including hot kitchens, refrigerated spaces,outdoor areas, and confined spaces
• Kneel,crouch, crawl, and reach overhead to access and repair equipment
• Usehand tools and power tools safely and accurately
• Maintainphysical stamina while navigating a large multi-level facility
