Pay: $1000 gross pay per week ($1100 if you have previous FedEx experience for over 1 year)

What will I be doing?

• Driving an 18ft step van delivering and picking up packages
• Approximately 70 to 90 delivery stops (150 to 350 packages per day) and about 7 to 15 pickups

Where is the job?

• Start at Fife around 8:30am–9:00am
• Drive to Seattle/SoDo to make deliveries to commercial businesses only (no residential). Traffic should be expected.
• Return to the Fife terminal around 5:30pm–6:00pm (traffic time included)

Warnings / Expectations

• This is a physically intensive job; it is not a leisurely role.
• We are looking for someone to stay long-term with a consistent, stable job. You will be doing the same stop most days (not a residential route).
• Training may take 2 weeks to 1 month, depending on skill level.

We are hiring regular full-time FedEx Delivery drivers with work-related driving experience and a strong work ethic for business deliveries only. CDL license is not required. Prior experience with Local Driver, Route Driver, Truck Driver, Courier, Pick Up Driver, Delivery Driver is a plus. Experience with UPS, Amazon, FedEx, DHL, Walmart, Uber, Lyft or similar companies is beneficial.

Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
• Pass a DOT physical
• Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
• Have reliable transportation to and from work; be on time and ready to work each day
• Be able to climb stairs
• Be able to work in all types of weather
• Have a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude

Daily duties include but are not limited to:

• Operate your vehicle safely at all times
• Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences; routes vary, but a driver is expected to perform up to 150 stops per day
• Perform daily vehicle inspections including fluid checks
• Load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with the manager
• Effectively operate a scanner and track the delivery process
• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is essential to our integrity
• Deliver the entire route in a timely manner

Paid training ($750 per week) will be provided to cover delivery/route procedures, standard equipment operations, customer service skills, and driver safety.
