Location: Spartanburg SC
Position Type: Part Time/Hourly
Pay Rate: $9.25 per hour
Work Schedule: 29 hours per week Monday through Saturdays, varying shifts between 9:00am and 6:00pm
About this opportunity:
This position is responsible for:
- Receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store.
- Assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
- Lifts and carries items to the appropriate destination for further processing, storage or displaying in store.
What we are looking for in you:
- Ability to sort items in accordance with established categories.
- General thrift store pricing knowledge for household items, seasonal items, small appliances, shoes, and accessories as it pertains to local trends.
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work requires exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Work is performed in a warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderate mobility; duties are usually performed by combinations of standing and walking on a frequent change basis.
