Job Summary
Responsible for loading and unloading products from delivery trucks and maintaining an efficient, safe, and organized work area.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload mats, mops, linens, and garments from delivery trucks and depot boxes.
- Operate equipment including Monorail, Monorail Hoist, Pallet Jack, and Electric Forklift.
- Drive delivery trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Monitor machinery and report issues to Supervisor for minor or major repairs.
- Ensure product quality and meet daily production goals.
- Assist in other department areas as necessary.
Essential Requirements
- Training: 2–4-week training period to learn routes, routines, company standards, and job efficiency.
- Physical Ability:
- Stand and walk for full shifts
- Lift and move 25 lbs. continuously
- Push/pull 75 lbs. or more occasionally
- Perform repetitive tasks including twisting, bending, and turning
- Ability to assist in improving production systems and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operating procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Previous warehouse or dock experience preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with alignment to company values.
- Other duties as assigned
Work Environment
- Work primarily on the loading dock and inside plant areas.
- Exposure to weather conditions and high temperatures/humidity in the plant.
- Safety awareness required to prevent injuries from low railings, machinery, and moving parts.
- Standard work schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM until all product is completed (end time varies depending on production volume).
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
