Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide basic lab assistance to the Quality Control department and other areas as assigned
- Use established procedures to:
- Perform basic maintenance on analytical instruments
- Clean glassware/flasks - Prepare reagent and cleaning acids
- Refill consumable supplies
- Organize MEB retains
- Check in of documentation (“Golds”) from MFG
- Maintain inventory of instrument parts and NISTs
- Organizing/purging old materials as necessary
Miscellaneous support duties are to include:
- Clerical duties organizing CoAs and SDS
- General cleaning
- Other duties as assigned
Adheres to established safety rules/guidelines
Wears appropriate personal protective equipment
Properly dispose of waste material
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision and also as part of a team.
- Keen attention to detail.
Preferred
- An interest in science and/or basic knowledge of the periodic table.
- Prior experience in a lab setting.
