Assists in ensuring all Service Level Agreements with Broadridge Clients are met in the most cost-efficient manner. Monitors the production floor to maximize throughput while maintaining optimal labor costs. Collaborates with all departments in Operations to coordinate resources, ensuring efficiency is maximized while maintaining high quality standards. Reports to Supervisor/Manager Production Operations.
Responsibilities
- Assists in coordinating available labor on the Production floor ensuring the operation is running efficiently. Utilizes outside temp agencies to increase and/or decrease labor levels as volume dictates.
- Actively assists in cross-training associates across Production/Operations to reduce labor costs and position associates to perform the proper function(s).
- Helps to ensure all jobs on must-mail list are prioritized and completed in a timely manner. Increases communication between departments to ensure must-mail deadlines are met.
- Communicates with and supports the leads, supervisors and managers throughout the Operations team.
- Reads, comprehends and takes appropriate action regarding emails/remedy. Correctly follows instructions, identifies problems and provides solutions.
- Follows all Broadridge and departmental policies and procedures.
- May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years in Production Environment, preferred
- Associates degree preferred, or related Production experience
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull and reach throughout duration of assigned 12-hour shifts
- Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with team members, internal and external liaisons
- Ability to take direction and to work with sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Proficient in the English language
Compensation and Schedule
The hourly rate for this position is $20.90 - $33.00 USD per hour.
Shift: EWN – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and alternate Saturday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
