Position Highlights: The Athletics Department is dedicated to excellence in collegiate sports, building a modern model of intercollegiate athletics fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and student-athlete success. The Recruiting/Operations Assistant will work with the Arizona Football Office to ensure logistical planning and operations are meeting goals and expectations for the department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Creation and organization of recruit mailers/letters.
  • Assist with on-campus tours for recruits and their families (Unofficial/Official).
  • Assist the Director of Recruiting Operations on all pre-game/in-game/post-game events.
  • Assist with vendor setup (hotels, restaurants, etc.) on visits (Unofficial/Official).
  • Assist with check-ins (meals, team meetings, team events).
  • Assist with maintaining accurate staff and player contact information.
  • Assist with new player/staff onboarding.
  • Assist with team travel as needed.
  • Manage and organize office equipment within budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of NCAA, Big-12, and University of Arizona Rules and Regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
  • Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • One (1) year of relevant work experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a Division I program.
  • Event Management experience at the Power-4 or Professional Sports level.
