In this role, you will play a crucial part in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top-tier talent, ensuring our restaurant consistently has skilled team members who align with our mission of delivering outstanding experiences to every guest while fostering an inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and establish hiring priorities.
  • Manage job postings across various platforms including Indeed, social media, and community boards.
  • Proactively source candidates through connections with local schools, colleges, community events, and referral networks.

Screening & Interviewing

  • Evaluate applications and conduct preliminary phone or video screenings.
  • Coordinate and schedule in-person interviews with management.
  • Utilize structured interview questions to assess cultural fit and alignment with Chick-fil-A values.

Onboarding & Orientation

  • Facilitate new hire paperwork, background checks, and uniform ordering.
  • Assist in organizing and executing new team member orientation and Day 1 experiences.
  • Track the completion of onboarding tasks to ensure smooth integration into the team.

Staffing & Scheduling Support

  • Monitor weekly staffing levels and communicate needs effectively to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Training Director to connect new hires with appropriate training resources.
  • Support retention efforts by checking in with new hires during their first 30/60/90 days.

Brand Ambassador

  • Represent Chick-fil-A Merrimon Avenue with professionalism at all times.

  • Ensure all recruitment practices exemplify our values of hospitality, excellence, and care.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in recruiting, HR, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to build rapport and connect with diverse candidate pools.
  • Comfortable using job boards, spreadsheets, and applicant tracking systems.

Schedule & Compensation

  • This is a part-time position, requiring 15-25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and weekends.
  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
