School Psychologist - (qualifies for $1500 Recruiting Incentive)

Job Description

The Educational Service Center of Central Ohio is seeking a school psychologist who is organized, efficient, and self-motivated. The successful candidates must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as demonstrated experience as a child advocate. Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and triennial re-evaluations, collaborating with teachers and instructional staff to develop research-based instructional and behavioral practices and interventions, ensuring policy adherence, and supporting the district's move towards a preventative RTI and MTSS process.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid school psychology license and certification from the Ohio Department of Education
• Training and/or experience in Response to Intervention (RTI) and MTSS strategies
• Experience with Intervention Assistance Teams and designing interventions
• Clear criminal record documentation

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations
• Provide best practices for social and emotional development in children and youth
• Implement academic and behavioral interventions at the building level
• Facilitate individual and group counseling
• Consult with building teams as needed

Salary

Commensurate with experience and according to the salary schedule.

Reports To

Executive Director for the Center of Student Services.
