Outpatient Neurophysiology/EMG:

  • Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking 1 BC/BE fellowship trained neurophysiology/EMG neurologist to join our neurosciences program located in Louisville, KY at Baptist Health Louisville. Join a large, multi-specialty neurology practice: 12 neurologists, 11 neurology PA/NP. New (2024), ABRET accredited, neurophysiology lab attached to neurology practice location. Seeking OP split clinic/neurodiagnostic practice. 1 campus, 1 office, no call, no IP responsibility.

Outpatient Epilepsy/EMU:

  • Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking 1 BC/BE, neurophysiology/EEG or epilepsy, fellowship trained, neurologist to join our epilepsy program located in Louisville, KY at Baptist Health Louisville. Join a large, multi-specialty neurology practice: 12 neurologists, 11 neurology PA/NP. Team consists of 3 fellowship trained & boarded epileptologists. Requires 4th for OP practice and shared EMU oversight (full IP neuro-hospitalist team takes night call). 4-bed epilepsy monitoring unit opened February 2025, will be NAEC accredited in 2026 as level 3-medical EMU. 60% REEGT team, EMU experienced tech staff, EEG tech training program onsite. Redundant video/trace monitoring (V/TrM) units on EMU unit and back-up in neurophysiology lab, plus back-up V/TrM service. Developing regional video/trace monitoring hub and tele-epilepsy clinic ops for the region. Shared EEG reading responsibilities, regional EEG only read by fellowship trained neurophys/epilepsy.

Outpatient Vascular Neurology:

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking 1 BC/BE, fellowship trained vascular neurologist to join our stroke program located in Louisville, KY at Baptist Health Louisville. Join a large, multi-specialty neurology practice: 12 neurologists (3 boarded vascular MDs serve on IP/neuro-hospitalist team), 11 neurology PA/NP. This position is 100% outpatient, with no IP practice or call responsibilities. Baptist Louisville is the flagship facility in the largest healthcare system in KY. The campus is a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center (seeking CSC in 2027) seeing > 1300 stroke/TIA annually and performs ~120 thrombectomies/year. IP stroke is covered by a 5-member (2 MD/3 NP) IP neurology team daily and served by 3 endovascular surgeons (all providers employed). Future plans:

  • 100% vascular neurology/stroke follow-up clinic to serve our large stroke population.
  • Implement a stroke/TIA, multi-disciplinary, prevention clinic, inclusive of multi-year tracking of clinic impact.

About Baptist Health Louisville Hospital

Baptist Health Louisville is a 519-bed tertiary-care hospital located in the heart of St. Matthews. The all-private room hospital provides virtually all inpatient services with the exception of transplantation and burn care.

The hospital’s emergency services include special teams for heart attack and stroke care. Cancer services include two freestanding radiation centers and the Charles and Mimi Osborn Cancer Center, which also offers a cancer resource center and a multidisciplinary lung care clinic. Special services include women’s health, labor and delivery, digital mammography, ultrasound and bone-density scanning for osteoporosis.
