Our client, an industry-leading industrial manufacturing company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their team in Menlo Park, CA. This role is a unique opportunity to work in the heart of Silicon Valley, with nearby cities including Palo Alto, Redwood City, Mountain View, and Sunnyvale. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales representatives, managing complex B2B sales cycles, and developing distributor relationships. With a focus on industrial equipment and automation solutions, this role requires an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of territory growth and team development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales management role within the industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record managing complex B2B sales cycles and distributor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Manage sales staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

Pay/Benefits

Our client offers a competitive salary range of $141,531-$181,531 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
