Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities

Focus on plant processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing and maintenance methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency in manufacturing and maintenance.

Collaborate with all plant departments and corporate offices to achieve key performance indicators and budgets.

Coordinate with vendors involved in plant projects.

Investigate downtime issues within the plant to implement countermeasures ensuring continuous production.

Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.

Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

Perform related duties as assigned or as situations dictate.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BS/BA in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

Minimum of 4-5 years in a manufacturing environment with related products

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent working knowledge of computers, machining and assembly practices, tools, and fixtures
-
Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical controls, pneumatic, and robotic systems
-
Experience with PLC, HMI, and Robot programming is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
