Manufacturing Engineer\n\nGloucester\n\n£42,000 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits\n\nPermanent Position\n\nAre you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a background in mechanical fabrication and assembly? Looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact on manufacturing efficiency and workflow?\n\nWe’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Gloucester, supporting the end-to-end production process of bespoke mechanical equipment. This is a key role that acts as a bridge between engineering and the workshop – ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and timely delivery of components.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n\nCreating and maintaining detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for mechanical assemblies\n\nManaging engineering drawings, issue control, and revision updates\n\nCoordinating with engineering, purchasing, and the shop floor to manage material flow\n\nUpdating the MRP system with material status, shortages, and order tracking\n\nProviding the workshop with accurate kits, documentation, and assembly aids\n\nSupporting quality control, traceability, and inspection readiness\n\nSolving production queries in collaboration with engineering teams\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nPrevious experience in a production, manufacturing, or fabrication engineering role\n\nStrong understanding of mechanical or special-purpose equipment\n\nConfident reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and assembly layouts\n\nFamiliar with MRP or ERP systems\n\nGreat coordination and communication skills across teams\n\nBonus Points For:\n\nKnowledge of mechanical fabrication standards (e.g.
