Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Zelienople, PA

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Shift: 1st shift

Description:

The Manufacturing Engineer supports manufacturing and service by developing, qualifying, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, processes, and procedures. They also contribute to cost-saving projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support existing manufacturing product lines in the Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) division.
• Participate in new TTM product introduction projects, developing assembly and testing methods and equipment.
• Lead validation efforts for TTM processes and equipment.
• Lead pilot run executions.
• Represent manufacturing in design reviews as required.
• Develop and maintain specifications and procedures for manufacturing, testing, and inspection processes.
• Design, develop, specify, acquire, qualify, and maintain manufacturing and test fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
• Develop and execute test protocols, author reports, technical memos, investigations, and document changes per regulatory and corporate standards.
• Troubleshoot processes, designs, and equipment.
• Improve production line efficiency using Lean tools to eliminate waste, increase capacity, and reduce costs.
• Identify, plan, and execute cost improvement projects for TTM products and accessories.
• Lead multiple engineering projects, including manufacturing support, continuous improvement, qualifications, investigations, product transfers, and equipment maintenance.
• Create and set up prototype production lines and conduct pilot production runs.
• Assist in vendor selection and qualification for procurement of materials and equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Manage total manufacturing costs for all products and accessories.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies, ISO, and FDA requirements.
• Perform other TTM-related duties as assigned.
