ColonialWebb is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide process support and improvement for our over 120,000 square feet prefabrication facility. This role will be responsible for creating new processes and innovative ideas to the growing team!

What you will do:

  • Lead and support improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams at all levels, focusing on quality control (KPI's and Quality Metrics)
  • Apply LEAN Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, standard work, takt time) to streamline operations
  • Provide leadership and supervision to manufacturing by using value stream mapping as a technique
  • Own and manage manufacturing processes from start to finish, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency

What we are looking for:

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, mistake-proofing or similar methodologies (Certified in Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, or similar Business Systems)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and welding
  • a Bachelor's Degree in either Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management; or equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, Written, Verbal, and Interpersonal skills
  • Propose strategies to enhance worker efficiency, safety, and product quality by implementing cost-saving initiatives, job duty restructuring, and workflow optimization
