IMS Recruiting is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support new product introduction (NPI) programs, process improvements, and production readiness for a growing technology-driven manufacturer. Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct all work in alignment with company safety standards.
  • For NPI programs, collaborate with design and test engineers to determine fixture needs (create fixture lists).
  • Design, draft, coordinate manufacturing, inspect, and validate assembly and test fixtures.
  • Partner with planners, buyers, and engineers on fixture jobs, purchase orders, priorities, and schedules.
  • Develop new and improve existing manufacturing, assembly, and test processes and cells.
  • Create and update routers based on ECOs, process improvements, or design changes.
  • Review and approve ECOs for new and existing drawings, documents, and standards.
  • Review NPI drawings for manufacturability, standardization, and best practices.
  • Build development and LRIP assemblies as needed.
  • Create and revise assembly procedures, work instructions, and part protection processes.
  • Support packaging and final assembly readiness, including materials and documentation.
  • Lead or support structured problem-solving, waste elimination, and root cause corrective actions.
  • Contribute to capital expense planning and implementation.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or technical equivalent).
  • 2+ years of manufacturing engineering or relevant experience.
  • Experience with fixture design and validation.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mid-sized company environment.
