Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all work in alignment with company safety standards.
- For NPI programs, collaborate with design and test engineers to determine fixture needs (create fixture lists).
- Design, draft, coordinate manufacturing, inspect, and validate assembly and test fixtures.
- Partner with planners, buyers, and engineers on fixture jobs, purchase orders, priorities, and schedules.
- Develop new and improve existing manufacturing, assembly, and test processes and cells.
- Create and update routers based on ECOs, process improvements, or design changes.
- Review and approve ECOs for new and existing drawings, documents, and standards.
- Review NPI drawings for manufacturability, standardization, and best practices.
- Build development and LRIP assemblies as needed.
- Create and revise assembly procedures, work instructions, and part protection processes.
- Support packaging and final assembly readiness, including materials and documentation.
- Lead or support structured problem-solving, waste elimination, and root cause corrective actions.
- Contribute to capital expense planning and implementation.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or technical equivalent).
- 2+ years of manufacturing engineering or relevant experience.
- Experience with fixture design and validation.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mid-sized company environment.
