Manufacturing Manager (Direct Hire)
Job Requisition: 7319
Annual Salary Range: $120 – 130K + up to 12% annual bonus. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
Description for Manufacturing Manager:
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring production meets quality standards, cost objectives, and delivery schedules. This role involves leading a team, optimizing workflows, maintaining safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities for Manufacturing Manager:
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met.
- Implement and maintain efficient manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors and operators.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Ensure effective maintenance and utilization of equipment and machinery.
Requirements for Manufacturing Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in intrinsic safety devices, electro-mechanical devices, or electronics.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Strong team development skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Experience in designing and delivering leadership training programs.
- Proficiency in change management and driving organizational culture transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving operational excellence.
- Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of safety and quality regulations (e.g., ISO9001, OSHA).
Preferred Qualifications for Manufacturing Manager:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
- Formal leadership training certification (e.g., Situational Leadership, FranklinCovey, or similar).
