As a Manufacturing Engineer at Lexington Medical, you'll design and commission both simple and complex equipment to serve the needs of our in-house production environment. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated hardware experience and is looking to apply it to manufacturing and scaling production lines. At Lexington Medical, we are proud to have our manufacturing facility in Massachusetts, which offers our manufacturing engineers the ability to be hands-on and interact directly with the products that we build.

Responsibilities:

• Design, manufacture, and implement production fixturing and equipment as well as the processes that surround them.
• Work with external vendors to commission custom equipment for Lexington Medical's production environments.
• Serve as the primary engineer supporting certain production processes and equipment.
• Document and maintain manufacturing process written instructions.
• Provide training to production personnel on manufacturing processes.
• Assist in Equipment Qualification and Validation testing.
  
  

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and working with mechanical and/or electromechanical products.
• Working knowledge of various production methods and 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience designing, fabricating, and debugging mechanical systems.
• Continuous improvement mindset, driven to find opportunities for positive change.
• (Preferred, but not required) Experience working with industrial automation, wiring, and programming.
