Job Description

Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer-aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D model data to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructions. Utilizes understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operational procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates equipment and tool performance, including IoT devices, to verify efficiency and initiates corrective actions to resolve problems. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics for continuous improvement. Provides input on product design to optimize manufacturing techniques.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross-functionally with disciplines such as industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance, and production planning.
• Experience with manufacturing processes including fabrication, assembly, machining, and electrical disciplines such as composites, metallics, bonded assemblies, and installations.
• Previous experience with lean manufacturing and process improvements.
• Experience with MRP systems, SAP, or other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years (required to apply).
• Experience with 'first time build' product development.

• Catia V5
• Structural Assembly (e.g., drilling, determinate assembly, MPS processes)
• Aviation industry experience
