Job Description
The ideal candidate will gain experience improving the manufacturing process of small and large gears. They have projects confirmed for 5+ years. You will be VERY hands on working with the engineering and manufacturing teams. The ideal person will come in and hit the ground running and make improvements for efficiency. Responsibilities include:
- Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties,
- Develop and maintain sequence of operations to produce parts in conformance with product drawings.
- Specify and/or design tooling required to produce parts
- Develop and maintain documentation to include NC and CNC programs and operational drawings
- Specify and/or design gauging and frequency
- Perform as shop liaison to solve manufacturing problems to maintain production schedules.
- Identify and implement corrective action to prevent recurring problems and to maintain quality, delivery schedules, and product cost.
- Identify design of manufacturability features on product designs to maintain lowest product cost.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements of manufacturing processes to reduce cost and lead-time, and /or improve quality.
- Develop, comply with, and support ISO-9000, QS-9000, TS-16949, and 6-SIGMA procedures and work instructions

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
- 5+ years experience as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer
- Previous gearing and machining experience
- Automation experience
- Mazatrol experience (can be training or G&M code)
- CNC grinding experience
- CNC programming experience
- Lean/Continuous Improvement experience
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $58.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cleveland,OH.
