Lead the Engineering team to highest level of electronic manufacturing process (PCBA), best manufacturing practices, innovation on latest manufacturing technology, reduces cycle time and improves efficiency on the manufacturing floor. Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Manages all engineering activities and projects as needed
Job Responsibility:
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
- Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
- Maintains product and process data base by writing computer programs; entering data.
- Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
Required Qualifications:
Dealing with Complexity, Informing Others, Leadership, Supervision, Hardware Specifications, PCBA Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality, Product Development, Presenting Technical Information, CAD, CAD/CAM, ODB++ Circuit Design, AutoCAD, Knowledge of SMT, Selective Solder, Conformal coating processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing efficiency within PCBA manufacturing environment. Knowledge managing Valor DFM analysis.
Education:
- College degree in Electronic / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in Electronic manufacturing (PCBA front / back end)
- Experience in Aerospace / Military industry (preferred)
- Experience in a regulated Industry (Automotive, medical ,etc.)
- Experience in SMT process (Paste printer, Placement equipment, Reflow Oven)
- Experience in Inspection Equipment (SPI & AOI from Koh Young , X Ray from Nordson)
- Experience in Selective Solder and Depanel process (ERSA & GTECH equipment)
- Experience in Conformal Process ( Nordson Asymtek equipment)
- Experience with Factory Logix MES software
- Experience with Mentor Valor software
