Essential Job Functions:
- Define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Implement and continuously improve production processes.
- Create documentation for production support and data collection.
- Develop and update process Control Plans and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Develop training programs and materials for production Team Leaders, Technicians, and Operators.
- Coordinate safety efforts with the Safety Administrator.
- Select vendors for equipment and production materials, and develop criteria for supplied items.
- Determine stock items and quantities for equipment spare parts and production materials.
- Define preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and initiate work orders for issues.
- Participate in planning safety and protection activities according to OSHA/IOSHA and other standards, ensuring training and compliance.
- Stay updated on relevant materials through trade publications, seminars, and classes.
- Establish area goals to support production and strategic initiatives.
- Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes, production, and quality standards.
- Support TS16949 and ISO14001 initiatives.
- Develop or revise operational and working practices, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or five (5) years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing, or an equivalent combination.
