We are seeking a manufacturing engineer to support process development, equipment-related improvements, and overall production support across multiple departments. This role will focus on driving efficiency, supporting equipment upgrades and tooling improvements, and working closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure reliable operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience, a solid understanding of machinery and production workflows, and a practical, problem-solving approach to supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and improve manufacturing processes across forging, spinning, machining, and related departments
  • Assist in planning and executing equipment-related projects, including upgrades, retrofits, and layout changes
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot chronic equipment issues and implement corrective actions
  • Evaluate tooling, fixturing, and part handling methods to improve reliability and reduce setup times
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment checklists, and maintenance documentation as needed
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts to identify equipment bottlenecks and reduce unplanned downtime
  • Assist in the specification and implementation of new machinery or process equipment
  • Provide technical support for root cause analysis related to equipment failures or production inefficiencies
  • Track performance metrics and support the development of maintenance-friendly production processes
  • Ensure all engineering work aligns with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or equipment support role
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing equipment, and production support functions
  • Ability to read technical drawings and interpret basic GD&T
  • Familiarity with production support tools and methodologies (Lean, TPM, FMEA, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or CMMS systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Job Type & Pay

  • Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
  • Pay Range: $85,000 – $135,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (8-hour shift)
  • Expected Hours: 40+ hours per week (plus flexibility as needed)
