Best-in-class engineering, design and manufacturing combined with category-leading brands in compression, controls, software and monitoring solutions result in next-generation climate technology that is built for the needs of the world ahead.If you are a Manufacturing Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you!**As a Manufacturing Engineer, You Will:*** Understand assembly processes and manufacturing practices.* Utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination* Conceptualizes, develops, and initiates fixturing and tooling process improvements* Manages projects from concept and design through capital appropriation requests to qualification within project schedule and budget.* Support Automation which includes Tube bending and tube cutting processes* Support and improve on many manual processes with the possibility of automating!* Individual will utilize automation and lean manufacturing principles to reduce cycle time and waste elimination* Individual must be proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to all plant personnel, Engineering, Product Planning, and external suppliers* Develops documentation for use by operators and maintenance technicians to perform their duties and assist them in troubleshooting* Self-initiates corrective actions for quality concerns based on effective problem-solving skills and develop temporary and permanent solutions to manufacturing issues* Comply with all required safety and regulatory requirements* Individual will utilize AutoCAD, Inventor and/or 3D Software for electrical / mechanical design and repair* Proficient in both verbal and computer skills to effectively communicate to plant personnel, Engineering, Project Planning and external suppliers**Required Education, Skills and Experiences:*** Bachelor Degree in Engineering. (Co-Op Experience will be in consideration).**Preferred Education Skills and Experiences:*** 5 - 7 years of relevant experience* Basic programming experienceWe are a global climate technologies company engineered for sustainability.
