Watermark Designs is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join our team during an exciting period of expansion. As a key player in our 3 to 5-year growth plan, you will contribute to building our business threefold. This involves completing a new warehouse space, relocating our factory picking operation to an adjacent space, and spearheading the redesign and expansion of our manufacturing operations. Your role will be critical in enhancing our metal polishing, decorative plating, powder and enamel spray coating, and final assembly processes.

Base pay

$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

About the Role:

Watermark Designs is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join our team during an exciting period of expansion. As a key player in our 3 to 5-year growth plan, you will contribute to building our business threefold. This involves completing a new warehouse space, relocating our factory picking operation to an adjacent space, and spearheading the redesign and expansion of our manufacturing operations. Your role will be critical in enhancing our metal polishing, decorative plating, powder and enamel spray coating, and final assembly processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the improvement and update of metal polishing, decorative plating (copper, nickel, chrome, gold), powder and enamel spray coating, and final assembly processes to support a 3x business growth.
  • Implement lean methods and leverage updated technology to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for process troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the factory environmental safety program

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with a focus on process optimization and redesign.
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of Lean methodologies.
  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.
  • Previous experience in a luxury manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Minitab, JMP Statistical software
  • MS Office
  • CAD Software, SolidWorks or similar

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong expertise in metal polishing, decorative plating, and powder/enamel spray coating.
  • SPC Implementation.
  • Proficient in both English and Spanish.
