Work Location: East Moline IL 61244
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Duration: 1 Year (Strong possibility of extension)
Responsibilities include providing support and troubleshooting for current operations, establishing routings, methods, layouts, and quality plans, identifying cost reduction and safety improvements, supporting lean manufacturing, designing operations layouts, participating in capacity and efficiency studies, implementing new manufacturing processes, and supporting assembly line departments.
Qualifications
This is a 1st shift position, typically 7 am - 3:30 pm, with some overtime required and flexible start/end times.
Preferably 1+ year experience in Assembly Manufacturing Engineering and shop floor experience.
Familiarity with assembly tools, processes, and systems is required, with previous exposure to the client being a plus.
Daily support to line operations and shop floor experience is necessary.
Ability to interact effectively with both wage operators and salaried workers is essential.
A BS in engineering is preferred but secondary to on-the-job experience.
