Employment Solutions is partnering with an established company to hire a Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite in Endicott, NY. This is a direct hire position with full benefits!

Our client manufactures highly engineered products and mission-critical components for the Aerospace, Defense, Transportation and other industries.

Salary range: $65K-90K

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
• Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
• Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 1 - 2 years' of engineering experience
• Relevant experience in a machining environment is highly desirable.
• Expertise in CAD and CAM software(e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), process simulation tools,and ERP systems. Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and 3D models. Understanding of G-Code and programming is a plus.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and techniques for ensuring part accuracy and quality.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly,welding, molding, etc.).
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
