Job Description
Assist the manufacturing manager in maintaining a structured work environment that benefits employees and customers. Act as a liaison between the Manager and other staff, ensuring procedures are followed while suggesting ideas for streamlining processes.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist group leaders and assemblers.
- Attendance reporting, including roll call, monitor breaks, and tardiness.
- Monitor and close the employee entrance after lunches/breaks.
- Manage kit issues from stores to mfg.
- Manage kit issue distribution to group leaders.
- Assist in team member training.
- Help organize and maintain floor cleanliness.
- Provide production status on jobs.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions.
- Provide staff with technical guidance and assistance.
- Relay productivity concerns to the Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to research, collect and analyze data.
- Knowledge of encapsulation compounds and coatings is a plus.
- Working knowledge of computers and office software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, understand and explain technical instructions.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate in Science (A.S.) Technical or equivalent two years of experience.
- Proficiency in M.S. Office.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk, hear, see, and sit (extended periods), stand, walk, bend, and reach (both above and below the shoulder and move, carry, and lift objects as needed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others to exchange information.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Tri-Tech Electronics will only hire U.S. Citizens or lawfully authorized applicants to work in the United States.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
- No travel is expected for this position.
