Job Description
- Contribute ideas to the Process Engineer or PIM to guide product definition, aiming to improve manufacturability and achieve QCD targets.
- Participate in product design reviews as required.
- Estimate Method Time.
- Participate in P-FMEA.
- Assist in validating prototypes if applicable.
- Request tooling when necessary and write tooling specifications.
- Depending on the domain: perform ERP routes, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, and programming for CNC machines, ensuring good EHS and ergonomic conditions.
- Sequence workstation tasks effectively.
- Validate product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI.
- Calculate precise Method Time.
- Industrialize retrofits after engineering changes: update routings, work instructions, and tooling.
- Support Production in achieving manufacturing QCD targets.
- Participate in continuous improvement workshops (e.g., SWIP).
- Contribute to industrial REX on manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Technical education.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry.
- Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, including writing manufacturing work instructions and line balancing.
- Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, and Configuration follow-up.
- Knowledge of Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics.
- Familiarity with IS common tools.
- Experience with Process FMEA and QRQC.
- Time analysis skills (MTM, MEK, UAS).
