Job Description

  1. Contribute ideas to the Process Engineer or PIM to guide product definition, aiming to improve manufacturability and achieve QCD targets.
  2. Participate in product design reviews as required.
  3. Estimate Method Time.
  4. Participate in P-FMEA.
  5. Assist in validating prototypes if applicable.
  6. Request tooling when necessary and write tooling specifications.
  7. Depending on the domain: perform ERP routes, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, and programming for CNC machines, ensuring good EHS and ergonomic conditions.
  8. Sequence workstation tasks effectively.
  9. Validate product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI.
  10. Calculate precise Method Time.
  11. Industrialize retrofits after engineering changes: update routings, work instructions, and tooling.
  12. Support Production in achieving manufacturing QCD targets.
  13. Participate in continuous improvement workshops (e.g., SWIP).
  14. Contribute to industrial REX on manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Technical education.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, including writing manufacturing work instructions and line balancing.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, and Configuration follow-up.
  • Knowledge of Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics.
  • Familiarity with IS common tools.
  • Experience with Process FMEA and QRQC.
  • Time analysis skills (MTM, MEK, UAS).
