The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production. This role involves improving manufacturing methods, analyzing equipment utilization, and collaborating with design and planning teams to optimize product design and tooling.

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in a similar role and experience programming CNC machines such as Turning, Milling, 5-axis and/or Milling machines.

Compensation
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $79,000 to $105,000. The exact salary may be determined on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and enhance manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • Analyze and plan the utilization of production equipment.
  • Collaborate with planning and design staff to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Coordinate with vendors to determine product specifications, arrange material and component purchases, and evaluate products/fixtures according to specification and quality requirements.
  • Set machine sequence and cycle times to efficiently manufacture parts to customer requirements.
  • Utilize CAD software for parametric modeling, simulation, analysis, and product documentation.

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • 2 years of related experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Programming software experience
  • CAD experience

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years of related experience
  • SolidWorks / ESPRIT experience
