Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITEwith our client in Portsmouth, NH. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- The Manufacturing Operator will perform various tasks, including screen printing, cutting glass according to specification, operating a grinding machine, inspecting and packing the final product, and wrapping customer-specific microscope slides.
- Load and unload pieces of glass
- Operate a variety of manual and automated printing, cutting, grinding, and wrapping machines while following safety protocol
- Use hand-operated power and manual material-moving equipment
- Follow technical drawings for customer specifications
- Identify and remove defective products
- Use measuring devices to ensure proper dimensions
- Needed to meet daily production targets
- Support and participate in continuous improvement projects
- Engage in safety-related activities
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $20.00 / hr.
Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1st shift).
Length: contract to hire (3 months).

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Operator.
- Speak, Read, Write, and Understand English.
- Basic Math and Computer Entry skills.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- Noise conditions due to machines and heat on the production floor.
- Standing for extended periods of time for a 10-hour shift or more.
- Lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Bending and twisting motions are not uncommon.
- Repetitious work.
- Excellent hand/finger dexterity.
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Vision correctable to 20/20.
- Able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and carry.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
